Dave Paff is an elected Alderman for Kenosha, Wisconsin's 6th Aldermanic District.
He has over 33 years of continuous government service in different capacities.
He spent 25 years as a firefighter. He proudly served among the men and women of IAFF Local 473, Waukegan Firefighters (AFL-CIO).
He served the position of Company Officer in the Suppression Division and oversaw Ladder Truck Company and EMS Rescue Squad in the City. He was a member of the Dive Rescue Team and Technical Rescue Team of MABAS Division 4/5 which supports Division 101 of Kenosha County.
Before serving in the Fire Service he was a US Navy Hospital Corpsman serving aboard the US Aircraft Carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71, as well as at Great Lake Naval Hospital. He trained at US Marine Corps Base Camp Lejuene, NC. as a Combat Medic (FMF-8404) and NTC San Diego Corps School. Aboard ship he served in the Mediterranean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean on the Maiden Med-Cruise for CVN-71.
In 1990 he was discharged from serving 4 years of active duty and then served an additional 4 years of Reserve duty, receiving an Honorable Discharge from the US Navy in 1994.
He also spent a short time as a Kenosha County Sheriff's Deputy.
His college education was obtained through the GI Bill and he attended the College of Lake County, Truman College (Chicago City Colleges) and Southern Illinois University. Receiving his BS degree in Fire Science Management.
He is proudly married to his wife Stephanie and they have two wonderful sons in the Eighth grade and Sixth grade.
He enjoy staying active through cycling, mountain biking, working out, gardening and spending time with family.

the Kenosha Velosport Cycling Team
